Optokoppler are out with their debut album!

Oliver Schmidt and Tim Rskn, both 26 from Hamburg - Germany, discovered the world of psy-trance at 98' and started producing music. Olli is a sound engineer so he is the man for technicality and Tim relates more to the composition side. Each one of them dj'ed on his own and after combining together at 03' they preformed in many big events and mostly in underground parties of the psy-trance scene in Germany.

Their first Album 'Replugged' is a combination between dark full-on and happy dance-floor music. The nature of their sound is very German - clear, sharp and accurate Along the way you will bump into beautiful vocals and uplifting beats, the kind of music that makes you want to start dancing in secret forests but you will enjoy it none the less in a close club with a hard, smooth wood floor

The Tulk was born in Hamburg, Germany and is still living there today.

He discovered his first Psy Trance parties back in 1998. He really fell in love with the music, and after a few parties he decided to start his own music production. In 1999 he formed the group Optokoppler with his friend Oliver Mondoshivan They have already released 2 Full On albums.

The first one was released on USTA Records, the second one on Y.S.E. The last 2 years they have travelled around Germany, Europe and Japan, and have been playing a lot of gigs.

The debut album 'Wonderland' by Optokoppler's Tim aka 'Tulk' will undoubtly become one of the most important Goa trance releases in 2008!

'Wonderland' is an extraordinary album featuring 9 exclusive Tracks. The polished sounds and effects, the beautifully crafted melodies and the functional grooves are on such an impressive level unlike anything else from Germany.

Tartaro, who is also known as Luís Brito, was born in 1985, Cascais - Portugal. By the age of 14, Luis started to play with two C.d. -Players and one Mixer with two channels. He also tries to produce House Music with E-Jay for fun, but with 15 he discovered the trance music via a gift given by is brother-in-law (Flow Records Change). In the mean will, he learned by himself how to use some DJ programs and started to organize free trance parties with his friends in Serra de Sintra, as DJ Psycocaos. Dj Psycocaos touched with several international and national artists like: Cpu, Beat Hackers, Clock Wise, Metal Wizard, Suria, M - Dust, Unreal, and others. In 2002/2003 he begun to produce trance music, helped by his friends - Hugo (Metal Wizard) and Pedro (Haxirai), he was a teacher a few years. Tartaro touched with several national artists like: Haxirai, Metal Wizard, Psilocybe Project, Shri Yantra, Killer Machine, Charade, Digital E-Motion ,Mind Expander and others. The sound of Tartaro is a mixture with a psychedelic full on night and with a full on psychedelic morning.

I starded dreaming about becoming a dj in a very early age and I applied to a course at a youth projekt. However , not surprisingly they didn"t want to welcome girls....
Sparked by a dream , reinforced by the scene, I got a practice with a friends, until I finally my dream come true .
In October 2003 I got a change play at the party and I haven"t stopped since :)
By now , it"s more of a lifestyle than anything else, and I"m constanly improving my skills and just recently I got into actual composition of music. I"ve been active in the Psycedelic trance scene for ages now and because of the immense amounth of positive vibrations.

I"ve encountered I feel almost obliged to share the feeling with others , chanelling strong positivy to all posse at the dance floor <3
